In 1927, humanity ignited its own downfall with the creation of the Viral Bomb—a bio-nuclear weapon tested on “uninhabited” islands that were anything but empty. The survivors mutated, and by 2027, they struck back, plunging Earth into a centuries-long war between Terrans and Mutants.

As the conflict raged, alien races entered the fray—first the technologically advanced Thelinkar, then the ruthless Klantiir—each aligning with opposing sides and reshaping the battlefield. The discovery of two ancient, evolved species—the subterranean Dwar and the elusive Raiken—only deepened the divide, fracturing alliances and fueling an endless global stalemate.

In 2800, desperation led to annihilation. The world was reduced to a fractured wasteland. Civilization retreated underground, surviving in the shadows for two thousand years as the surface transformed beyond recognition.
